Eric Chalbi

Eric Chalbi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric is currently the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Silk Road Medical, Inc. starting from October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Amerilab Technologies from April 2018 to October 2021. Eric also served as the Director of Quality at Access Point Technologies EP from April 2017 to April 2018.

Before these roles, Eric held various positions at Baxter International Inc. from 2012 to 2017, including Senior Value Stream Manager, Sr. Manager of Engineering and Facilities, Engineering Manager, and Principal Engineer. Eric was responsible for leading medical device manufacturing processes and ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals were met. Eric also had P&L responsibility.

Eric's earlier experience includes working as an Adjunct Professor at St. Cloud State University in 2012-2013, teaching M.E.M. courses. Eric also worked at Synovis Surgical Innovations as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Quality Assurance Engineer from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, they were a Process Control Technician at Gluek Brewing Company and served in the U.S. Army National Guard as a Fire Support Specialist Sergeant (E5) from 2000 to 2006.

Eric Chalbi obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2005. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued their Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
