Sean Armstrong

Sean Armstrong has worked in the software development field since 2013. Sean began their career as an Undergraduate Developer at Sage One in 2013, where they were responsible for software development, working within multi-disciplinary SCRUM teams and using Ruby on Rails and Test Driven Development with RSpec. Sean then moved to Sage in 2015, where they worked as a Developer and Junior Developer for the Sage One (Global) Platform. In 2018, they joined Opencast Software Limited as a Software Developer. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Blacks Outdoor Retail Limited from 2011 to 2013, where they gained knowledge and skills relating to customer service, communication and working within a commercial environment.

Sean Armstrong attended Harlington Upper School from 2005 to 2009, followed by Harlington Upper School Sixth Form College from 2009 to 2011. Sean then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing Science at Newcastle University from 2011 to 2015.
