Martin Täll

Martin Täll has a strong background in ophthalmology and has held various positions in the field. Martin began their career as a resident ophthalmologist at Tartu University Hospital from September 2008 to May 2010. Martin then moved on to North Karelia Central Hospital as a resident ophthalmologist from June 2010 to July 2011. Martin then joined Helsingin ja Uudenmaan sairaanhoitopiiri as an ophthalmologist in August 2011 and held the position until July 2020. In 2019, they also worked as an ophthalmologist at Mehiläinen from May 2019 to July 2020. Martin then took on the role of medical director at Coronaria from August 2020 to December 2022. Currently, they are serving as the medical director at Silmäasema starting from January 2023.

Martin Täll completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2001 to 2008, they attended the University of Tartu and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Following this, they pursued further specialization in ophthalmology and completed an Ophthalmology Residency Program from 2008 to 2011 at the same institution. Martin Täll also achieved additional certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2011, they became a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) from the European Board of Ophthalmology. Subsequently, in 2019, they acquired a Special Competence in Ophthalmic Surgery from the Finnish Medical Association.
