Ben Ohmart

Ben Ohmart is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience across multiple engineering and technology sectors. Currently at SilMan Industries, Ben supports customers with material handling and automated parking systems. As a founding member of the Sweater Cashmere Fund, Ben focuses on venture capital investments. Previous roles include Strategic Account Executive at Banner Engineering, where Ben drove sales strategy and customer engagement, and Senior Global Account Manager at Cognex Corporation, providing barcode reading and machine vision solutions. Ben has a solid engineering background, having worked as an Innovation and Design Engineer at Amazon and held various engineering roles at SOLARC Engineering, Crack/iDL Worldwide, Pioneer Pump, and Columbia River Carbonates. Ben holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and has completed a Manufacturing Leadership Academy at Clackamas Community College.
