Chun Fang

Chun Fang started working as a Researcher at the University of Helsinki in August 2008 and worked there until October 2016. In March 2018, Chun Fang became a Lead Data Scientist at Top Data Science Ltd. and held the position until July 2019. After that, Chun Fang joined Silo.AI in July 2019 as a Senior Data Scientist and later became the Lead AI Scientist in September 2022. At Silo.AI, Chun Fang worked on a (L2, L4)-Autonomous Driving Project for a global automotive giant, executing agile software development and delivering embedded software projects to the perception and motion planning departments.

Chun Fang has a strong education background in mathematics and applied mathematics. They obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Hunan University in the years 2001 to 2005. Following this, Chun Fang pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Chun Fang then completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Helsinki between the years 2008 and 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Chun Fang has obtained several Coursera Course Certificates in various subjects related to data analysis and machine learning. They have certifications in courses such as "Developing Data Products", "Practical Machine Learning", "Regression Models", "Exploratory Data Analysis", "Reproducible Research", "Statistical Inference", "The Data Scientist's Toolbox", "Getting and Cleaning Data", "Machine Learning", and "R Programming". These certificates were obtained in the year 2016.

In 2017 and 2018, Chun Fang further expanded their expertise by completing the Self-Driving Car Nanodegree program offered by Udacity, focusing on the field of Engineering.
