Jani Sainio

Jani Sainio is a Lead AI Scientist at Silo AI, where Jani focuses on building robust and scalable AI products using state-of-the-art methods in NLP and CV. Prior to their current role, Jani worked as a Data Scientist and partner at Lokus Digital Oy, specializing in networks, fraud detection, and credit scoring through machine learning. Jani also has experience as a Data Scientist and Specialist Researcher at the Turku School of Economics and Åbo Akademi University, where Jani worked on projects involving data mining, game recommendation engines, GPS data mining, and cloud service technologies. With a PhD in Theoretical Physics and a background in computational modeling, Jani has a strong research background in cosmology and advanced computational methods.
