Maksim Vedenev has extensive work experience in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence. Maksim started their career in 2015 as a Department Head at Azoft, where they led R&D teams and was responsible for project estimations and algorithm prototyping. In 2017, they worked part-time at DSIRF, focusing on processing surveillance camera videos and reviewing public datasets. From 2018 to 2019, Maksim worked as a deep learning engineer at PhotoLab, where they gained expertise in facial keypoint detection and persons detection and segmentation. In 2019, they joined Assaia - The Apron AI as a researcher, tackling problems like structure from motion and tracker detection. From 2020 to 2021, Maksim worked as a computer vision research engineer at МТS, specializing in employee recognition, people counting, and passport detection. In 2022, they joined Neuromation as a machine learning engineer, working on person positioning, floor plane estimation, and music processing. In the same year, they also worked at Sony Europe as a computer vision engineer, focusing on 3D pose estimation and improving fusion algorithms. Currently, Maksim is employed as a Senior AI Engineer at Silo AI.
Maksim Vedenev earned their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 1998 to 2002. Maksim then pursued higher education and obtained their Master's degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University from 2002 to 2004.
