Matvei Pashkovskii

Matvei Pashkovskii has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Matvei is currently working as a Lead AI Engineer at Silo AI, where they are responsible for implementing vital components and tooling for building and deploying Data/AI Products across various platforms. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Back-End Developer at Voyantic, where they played a key role in architecting and implementing the integration of devices with AWS IoT platform, as well as transforming ways of working and building DevOps culture in the R&D department.

Before joining Voyantic, Matvei worked at F-Secure Corporation, where they held multiple roles including Lead Data Engineer / Data Scientist, Team Lead / Lead Software Engineer, and Lead Software Engineer. Matvei led a project related to the development of industrial-grade approaches for testing machine learning models and test automation. Additionally, they worked on developing projects such as an Optical Quality Assurance system and a tag registration and optical validation service.

Prior to F-Secure Corporation, Matvei worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OnTarget Group Inc., where they implemented the TinCan specification and Analytics module for Xyleme Inc. Matvei also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Soft-Werke LLC, where they were responsible for Java development and supporting SAP's internal infrastructure.

Before their professional career, Matvei worked as a Web Developer at StP Oil Company. Overall, they have a strong background in AI engineering, back-end development, data engineering, and software engineering, with experience in a variety of industries and technologies.

Matvei Pashkovskii obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from ITMO University, where they studied from 2000 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications in different fields. Some of these certifications include "LangChain for LLM Application Development" from DeepLearning.AI in July 2023, "Convolutional Neural Networks" and "Sequence Models" from Coursera in March 2023 and February 2023 respectively, and "AWS Well-Architected" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022. Furthermore, Matvei has certifications in DevOps Engineering on AWS and Architecting on AWS from Nordcloud, obtained in November 2017 and June 2017 respectively. Matvei has also completed several courses on Coursera, earning certifications in "Data Science at Scale - Capstone Project", "Data Science at Scale Specialization", "Practical Predictive Analytics: Models and Methods", "Communicating Data Science Results", and "Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms". Lastly, Matvei has a certification in "Human-Computer Interaction", although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
