Samuel A. Ball

Samuel Ball is a prominent academic and leader in the field of psychiatry, currently serving as Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. With an extensive career that spans over three decades, Samuel has held significant roles such as Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Director of Research at Silver Hill Hospital, where also oversees Psychology and Executive Programs. Samuel previously served as President and CEO of The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse and led research initiatives at The APT Foundation. Educationally, Samuel earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware and holds a B.A. in Psychology and English from Colgate University.
