Jodie Douglas

Jodie Douglas has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jodie began their career at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar as a Server in 2004 and worked there until 2012. In 2006, they briefly took on the role of Service Manager at The Keg.

In 2008, Jodie became the President of BCIT PCMA, showcasing their leadership skills. Jodie then went on to work as a Student Coordinator at SportsMark and as a Sales & Catering Sales Practicum at The Metropolitan Hotel in 2009. That same year, they also worked at Panasonic as an Olympic Sales Coordinator and at Tourism Abbotsford as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.

In 2010, Jodie joined View From A Star, where they worked in Sales until 2017. During this time, they also took on the role of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Tourism Abbotsford.

Jodie's marketing career began in 2011 when they became a Marketing Coordinator at Silver Hills. Jodie continued to climb the ladder, holding positions such as Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, until eventually becoming the Marketing Director. Currently, Jodie holds the position of Senior Director of Marketing at Silver Hills, where they are responsible for developing and leading marketing strategies for brands across Canada and the US.

Throughout their career, Jodie has demonstrated their ability to handle budgets, manage teams, and create compelling marketing campaigns. Their diverse experiences have provided their with a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of the marketing industry.

Jodie Douglas earned a Diploma in Marketing Tourism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2009.
