Alan Davies

Alan Davies is a Senior Counsel at Silver Lake. Alan was previously an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Herbert Smith Freehills. At Simpson Thacher, they worked on M&A and private equity deals. At Herbert Smith Freehills, they worked on M&A, private equity and venture capital deals.

Alan Davies attended Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, where they studied history, geography, and economics. Alan then went on to study history at the University of Bristol, where they earned their BA (Hons.) degree. After working in the accounting field for a few years, Davies decided to return to school to study law. Alan completed their GDL and LPC at BPP Law School and is now a practicing solicitor.
