Gabriel Guarisa

Gabriel Guarisa has a diverse work experience in the field of Machine Learning Engineering. Gabriel started their career as an Undergraduate Research Project at LNCC from August 2014 to January 2016. Later, they worked as a Research and Development Scientist at LNCC from January 2017 to September 2017. Following that, Gabriel joined Coppetec Foundation as a Machine Learning Engineer from September 2018 to July 2020. Gabriel then moved to Fundação Getulio Vargas where they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer from October 2020 to August 2021, gaining experience in data science projects and MLOps processes. Gabriel's next role was at Boa Vista as a Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on the development and deployment of models, restructuring MVP for production environments, and working with GCP. Currently, they are working at Pier Seguradora as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, responsible for implementing a Feature Store, improving development and deployment processes, and providing technical expertise to teams.

Gabriel obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 2017 to 2020.
