Courtney McGarry

Courtney McGarry serves as Counsel at Silver Point Capital, L.P. since November 2021 and has been a Board Member at The Backpacks Foundation since August 2006. Previously, McGarry worked as an Associate and Law Clerk at Seward & Kissel LLP from October 2018 to November 2021. Early career experience includes a role as a Paralegal in Tax Certiorari at Goldberg & Iryami, PC from May 2012 to August 2018, where responsibilities involved client relationship management, financial analysis, and property tax assessment reduction. McGarry also completed an internship at the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County between September 2009 and August 2011. McGarry holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan.
