Stephen P. Schmitt

Mr. Schmitt was named SilverBow Resources' Vice President of Energy Marketing on June 26, 2011.

Mr. Schmitt joined SilverBow Resources in 2002 as Director of Energy Marketing. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the areas of pipeline commercial agreements, commodity marketing and trading, and energy finance. Prior to joining SilverBow Resources, he held several positions with Getty Oil Company, Coastal Corporation and El Paso Corporation. Mr. Schmitt received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
