George K.

George K. has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Director of Engineering at SilverCloud Health since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at First Derivatives as the SVP Head of UI Development from September 2016 to August 2022, and then as the VP Head of Web Development from March 2015 to August 2016. George also held the position of SVP Head of UI Development at Kx - a division of First Derivatives plc from November 2015 to August 2022.

Before joining First Derivatives, George was the Head of Web Development at ActivateClients from October 2012 to March 2015, where they designed and developed an Institutional FX Trading application. George also served as a Senior Developer at Zignals from March 2008 to October 2012, focusing on the development of financial trading tools. Prior to that, George worked as a C#/ASP.NET Consultant at Nest Design for a brief period in 2005, building a web-based application for managing client, product, and sales data.

George's earliest work experience was as an Applications Developer at BT in 2004, where they developed an enterprise-grade security portal and created a website for the RDS.

George K. attended Trinity College Dublin from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a B.A. Mod degree in Computer Science. George further pursued their education at Technological University Dublin from 2006 to 2008, obtaining an MSc. by Research degree in Computer Graphics.
