Carol Hallberg

Carol Hallberg, CAMS, CFE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and risk management. Currently serving as the Financial Intelligence Unit Manager at Silvergate Bank since February 2021, Hallberg previously held significant positions at Golden 1 Credit Union as BSA/AML/OFAC Manager and at True Link Financial as Head Of Compliance. Prior experience includes a senior management role at Protiviti, where expertise was applied in risk and compliance consulting. Hallberg also spent over 15 years at Protected Investors of America, first as Chief Compliance Officer and later as Vice President/Director of Operations, where operational and compliance frameworks were developed and executed. Academic qualifications include a Master of Law in Financial Services and International Taxation from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, complemented by a BS in Justice Studies from San Jose State University.
