Vera Stoddard

Vera Stoddard, CRC, has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Vera began their career as a Credit Analyst at Bank Societe Generale in 1997 and later transitioned to roles such as Home Equity Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Mortgage Loan Officer at Delta Credit Bank. In 2005, they served as a Sr. Credit Analyst at Rabobank before joining Swedbank in 2008 as a Credit Risk Manager. At Swedbank, Vera managed a credit portfolio of $1.2 billion and was responsible for credit assessment, negotiations with clients, and ensuring the quality of credit risk assessments. After leaving Swedbank in 2013, they became a Commercial Loan Consultant, Owner at VMS Capital. In 2014, they joined Silvergate Bank as an AVP, Commercial Real Estate Underwriter, where they underwrote commercial real estate loans and managed a team of portfolio managers/analysts. With experience across the banking and finance industry, Vera brings a wealth of expertise in credit risk management and portfolio analysis.

Vera Stoddard, CRC, holds an MBA in Business Economics, which they obtained from California State University - East Bay between 1999 and 2001. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University), from 1985 to 1991. In December 2017, they obtained a CRC certification from The Risk Management Association.
