Debra Hudnell is Chief Human Resources Officer at Silverstein Properties. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing talent, performance management, recruitment, culture design and management, professional development, employee engagement, legal compliance, as well as compensation and health/benefits initiatives. Debra is co-chair of the company’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Debra joined Silverstein Properties in 1981. Since that time, she has played an integral part in the exponential growth of the company. She develops, implements, and oversees Human Resources practices that ensure a balanced program throughout all the company's departments and properties, while maintaining its core values (integrity, respect, and collegiality). Debra’s efforts continue to make Silverstein Properties a career destination for qualified applicants and a sound investment for employees. Under Debra’s leadership, Silverstein Properties has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in New York City" by Crain's New York Business for eight consecutive years.

Debra is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Diversity Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). A native of Brooklyn, Debra and her husband have two adult children. She has been named among the 25 Influential Black Women in Business in 2016 by The Network Journal, a New York-based monthly African-American business magazine aimed at professionals and business owners. In 2020, Debra was featured on Crain’s New York Business list of Notable Women in Talent Resources.
