Rowan MacDougall

Rowan Macdougall is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in various high-pressure cooking environments. Currently serving as a Matchday Chef at Newcastle United FC since November 2022, Rowan also works as an Events Chef at Silverstone Circuits Ltd, involved in large-scale events such as Formula 1 and Moto GP. Past roles include Sole Chef aboard the Sailing Vessel Seahome, Chef during an Atlantic crossing on Sailing Vessel Dolphin Splash, and Head Chef at Cooper Island Beach Club, where responsibilities included menu planning, kitchen supervision, and innovative waste reduction. Rowan's early experience includes positions as Chef De Partie at esteemed establishments such as ANGELA HARTNETT LIMITED and Corbin & King, along with a foundational role as Commis Chef at The Shoulder of Mutton. Formal culinary training was completed at Darlington College, achieving a City and Guilds VRQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Professional Cooking.
