Richard Augustensen Jr has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard began their career in 1994 as a Sales Associate at Beaver Dam Hardware, where they provided assistance to customers and supervised associates. Richard then worked at The Home Depot from 2002 to 2004, first as a Sales Associate and later as a Merchandising Department Supervisor, responsible for training and supervising associates. In 2004, Richard joined Canon Business Solutions as an Account Representative, working with existing customers and canvassing prospective clients. Richard was later promoted to the role of Account Executive, assisting clients with cost analysis and meeting their business needs. In 2005, they joined Ryan Homes as a Project Manager, overseeing the construction process and enforcing regulations. Richard joined Silvi Materials in 2011 as a Sales Manager, and worked their way up to Assistant Regional Sales Manager, Regional Aggregate Sales Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Salt & Aggregate Sales.

From 1999 to 2001, Richard Augustensen Jr attended Elon University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree. During this time, they majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish.
