Jaser Akuly

Jaser Akuly is the Director, Product at SIMBA Chain. Jaser has over five years of experience working in software development and marketing.

Jaser began their career as a Windows 8 Brand Ambassador for Microsoft. In this role, they were responsible for promoting the Windows 8 operating system to students on college campuses. Jaser then interned for Campus VIP, a company that provides marketing and sales services to college campuses. In this role, they helped promote various products and services to students.

In October 2015, Jaser began working for Ansira as a Full-Stack Software Developer. In this role, they worked with an agile team to create digital media generation systems, commissioning systems, booking systems, and full suit web portal admin systems. Jaser primarily focused on marketing metrics, sales reporting dashboards, and collecting first-, second-, and third-party data. Jaser built quality and high-performing functionality primarily with javascript frameworks such as Angular/Node/Express/Sails/CoffeeScript. Jaser also developed new functionality on existing software applications and participated in a rapid agile development schedule. Jaser provided production environment development support for applications in use by the businesses.

In January 2017, Jaser left Ansira to join SIMBA Chain as the Director, Product. In this role, they are responsible for leading the product team and overseeing the development of SIMBA Chain’s products.
