Qaisar Rafiq

Qaisar Rafiq serves as the Executive Director of Business Development at Simbec-Orion since July 2016, overseeing core and strategic accounts in the Nordics, UK, and USA while driving new business initiatives in therapeutic focus areas. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director and Director of Business Development at Simbec-Orion, the latter focusing on business development in the Nordics and England, and supporting European territory planning. Qaisar also held the position of Director of Business Development at Chiltern, managing biopharma development in the UK, Germany, and Nordics, and earlier worked at Richmond Pharmacology as Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing key accounts and promoting services to decision-makers in the pharmaceutical sector. Qaisar's educational background includes a BA Joint (Hons) in Business Management and Marketing from Middlesex University and A-Levels from L'ecole for Advanced Studies.
