Jose Rubio Romera

Jose Rubio Romera has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical engineering and data analysis. Jose started their career as a Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Intern at Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica HULP in 2018, where they developed a methodology using MATLAB to analyze outcomes of patients with neurological diseases affecting their motility.

In 2019, Jose worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, conducting research and contributing to projects until March 2020. Jose then joined the University of Illinois at Chicago, initially as a Bioengineering Graduate Assistant from December 2019 to April 2020. Later, they worked as a Data Analyst and Project Manager, focusing on CRO Project Management and data analytics for biomedical government contracts at the university. In this role, they conducted key data analytics of clinical blood measures and applied statistical model approaches in R to establish mortality predictors.

Currently, Jose is employed at SimBioSys, Inc. as a Clinical Data Abstractor since April 2022, and soon after, they transitioned into the role of Clinical Trials Analyst in February 2023. Detailed information about this latest role is not provided.

Jose Rubio Romera completed their Master of Science degree in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, spanning from 2014 to 2018.
