Jose Rubio Romera has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical engineering and data analysis. Jose started their career as a Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Intern at Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica HULP in 2018, where they developed a methodology using MATLAB to analyze outcomes of patients with neurological diseases affecting their motility.

In 2019, Jose worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, conducting research and contributing to projects until March 2020.
