Patricia C. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of precision medicine and companion diagnostics. Patricia is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Precision Medicine and General Manager of Pharma Partnering at SimBioSys, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for leading precision medicine initiatives and managing partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining SimBioSys, Inc., Patricia worked at BC BioSolutions, LLC as a Principal Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Consultant, where they provided strategic guidance for companion diagnostic development.

Before their time at BC BioSolutions, LLC, Patricia held various leadership positions at Merck. Patricia served as the Associate Vice President of Translational Molecular Biomarkers and Companion Diagnostics, where they led a team of scientists in developing biomarker assays for clinical trials and overseeing companion diagnostic programs. Patricia also held the role of Global Head of Companion Diagnostics Regulatory Affairs and Global Head of Translational Assay Technology at Bayer, where they were responsible for developing regulatory strategies and overseeing diagnostic development efforts.

Additionally, Patricia has worked at Ventana Medical Systems and the International Genomics Consortium, where they gained experience in tissue diagnostics and cancer research. Patricia also has experience in academia, having worked as an Assistant Research Professor at the Biodesign Institute, Arizona State University, and as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Mayo Clinic.

Throughout their career, Patricia has demonstrated expertise in biomarker discovery, diagnostic strategy, and regulatory affairs in the field of precision medicine.

Patricia C. completed their High School Diploma at McAuley High School. Patricia then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology at Miami University from 1990 to 1994. Afterward, they attended Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
