Baldwin Guchu

Baldwin Guchu has extensive experience in the finance and banking industry, with a focus on corporate and investment banking. Baldwin held various managerial and executive positions at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, including Senior Manager, Regional Chief Finance Officer, Regional Business Manager, and Chief Finance Officer. Baldwin also served as a Board Member at Ecobank Mozambique. Prior to their time at Ecobank, Guchu worked at Kingdom Financial Holdings Ltd as the Group Manager for Business Performance. Baldwin began their career at PwC, where they worked as an Audit Associate and later as an Audit Manager. Guchu's most recent roles include being the Group Finance Director at Simbisa Brands Limited, a Director at InnBucks MicroBank Limited, and a Board Member at Education Matters Africa.

Baldwin Guchu completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Cape Town GSB in 2015. Before that, in 2007, they obtained a B.Compt degree in Accounting Science from UNISA. Their undergraduate education was at the National University of Science and Technology (ZW) from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a B.Comm degree in Accounting.
