Yoann Pitarch, PhD

Yoann Pitarch, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. Yoann is currently employed at Sim&Cure as a Senior Manager, Data Science & Image Processing. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Principal Engineer at the same company. Yoann also served as a Maître de conférences at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they were a member of the IRIS research team and focused on data science. Yoann has also worked as an Ingénieur de recherche at LIRIS and Irstea, and as a Chercheur postdoctoral at Aalborg University. Yoann gained teaching experience as an Enseignant vacataire at IUT de Montpellier-Sète. Yoann's early research experience includes earning a PhD in Computer Science from LIRMM, where they focused on data stream analysis and summarization techniques.

Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Doctorat degree in Informatique (fouille de données).
