Wirasatria M.D. Husni

Wirasatria Md Husni has extensive work experience in finance and strategy roles. Wirasatria is currently serving as the Head of Finance Operations at Sime Darby Plantation since September 2022. Before that, they held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad from January 2022 to August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Financial Controller at AHMAD ZAKI RESOURCES BERHAD from July 2011 to December 2021. Wirasatria started their career at PwC as an Audit Manager and worked there from January 2005 to June 2011.

Wirasatria Md Husni completed their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Sydney from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in the same field at the University of Technology Sydney from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Wirasatria Md Husni obtained certifications in various areas, including "Discovering Your Strengths" and "Executive Leadership" from LinkedIn in June 2021. Wirasatria also became a Full Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in December 2020 and a Full Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in March 2008.
