Sime Darby Plantation is a founding member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and the world’s largest producer of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO), with a production of 2.097 million MT. 

We play an active role to ensure that our 241 estates and 70 palm oil mills in Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands are focused on delivering results through operational excellence. We take pride in our identity as a global provider of sustainable, tailor-made palm oil products created at our Sime Darby Oils refineries.

A highlight of our efforts is the award-winning GenomeSelect™ Planting Material that has enabled us to produce a 20% higher yield on the same amount of land.  We are also present in the Renewables business, which is primarily focused on expanding the Group’s Biogas and Solar portfolios as part of our asset-light strategy to reduce carbon emissions.
