We’re looking for a Data Analyst for our Data Operations Team (Data collection group) to analyze and lead Similarweb’s data operations services, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data collection configurations across mobile and desktop devices.
This role will report to the Data Operations Team Manager.

Producing these insights requires high-quality data to be collected and maintained through robust and up to date configurations. The Data Operations Team Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and consistency of this data, directly impacting the insights our products deliver to our customers.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as Data analyst in the Data Operations team means your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Launch data investigations for mobile and desktop data, to build data configurations.
  • Write data transformations logic on the data collected from the configuration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the data that is being collected via the configuration to ensure constant high quality.
  • Build and maintain tools to provide better and faster configuration support for your processes.
  • Own configuration management processes end to end using industry best practices with a focus on quality and delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other team leaders to plan, nurture, and implement an efficient and effective configuration management process.
  • Perform reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback about potential improvements.
  • Have lots of fun!

Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our data and the insights that our products are delivering to our customers.

This is the perfect job for someone who:

  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Data Analyst in an Online/Tech company
  • At least 1 years experience in Python scripting
  • Experience with SQL for data analysis
  • BA/B.Sc. in engineering, statistics or equivalent.  - Big Advantage
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English.
  • Team player, autodidact, fast learner with excellent analytical, research and business skills.
  • Hadoop/Spark/AWS Infrastructure experience - Big Advantage
  • Knowledge of HTML - advantage
