Adam Soffer has a strong background in data science and research. Adam is currently working as a Data Scientist at SimilarWeb since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Magentiq Eye Ltd. as a Data Science Team Leader from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, Adam worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at ATTRACT EU, where they developed a new CNN architecture for automatic root length measurement.
Before that, Adam was a Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2017 to 2020, where they focused on studying information leakage in video streams and privacy attacks using unsupervised learning algorithms. Adam also held several roles at the university, including Academic Staff as a Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, and Laboratory Assistant.
Additionally, Adam worked as a Data Scientist at Akabayov Research Laboratory from 2019 to 2020, where they designed a binding-score prediction model using unsupervised models and the Lasso algorithm. Adam has been published twice for this research. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Adam served as the 3D Printing Laboratory Manager at Carasso Science.
Adam Soffer began their education in 2014 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Communication Systems Engineering. Adam completed their undergraduate degree in 2018.
In 2019, Adam continued their studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Communication Systems Engineering by the end of 2020.
Adam's educational journey then led him to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they commenced in 2022. Adam is expected to complete their doctoral degree in Bioinformatics in 2026.
