Cole Plafcan

Cole Plafcan has extensive work experience in the financial industry, particularly in agricultural lending. Cole is currently serving as the SVP Director of Agricultural Lending at Simmons Bank since March 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at AgHeritage Farm Credit Services, starting as the Assistant VP of Ag Financial Services in December 1996. Cole then progressed to positions such as VP of Lending & Branch Manager from January 1999 to March 2017, and eventually became the SVP Chief Lending & Marketing Officer from March 2017 to February 2022. Before joining AgHeritage Farm Credit Services, Cole worked as a Customer Service Representative at Chrysler Credit Corporation from October 1995 to November 1996.

Cole Plafcan attended Little Rock Catholic High School from 1987 to 1991, where they completed their high school education. Cole then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing Management at the University of Arkansas from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Cole enrolled in the Paul W. Barret Jr. School of Banking and obtained a graduate degree in Banking.
