Robert Baker

Robert Baker currently serves as the President of the Greater Texas Community Region at Simmons Bank, a position held since April 2022, alongside the role of SVP for Greater Texas Chief Lending Officer. Since January 2021, Robert Baker has also contributed as an Advisory Director at the Children's Museum of Houston. Previously, Robert Baker held key leadership positions at Spirit of Texas Bank, including Deputy Chief Lending Officer and Chairman of the Houston Region from January 2017 to July 2023, and President of the Houston Region from January 2009 to January 2017. Earlier in Robert Baker's career, leadership was demonstrated as President of the Post Oak Branch at Royal Oaks Bank from September 2003 to December 2008. Robert Baker earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin between 1978 and 1982.
