Amy Huei-Yi Lee

Amy Huei-Yi Lee, Ph.D., is an accomplished microbiologist with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University since January 2020, Amy has previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, focusing on comparative genomics and transcriptomics of bacterial pathogens, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, specializing in the functional genomic and biochemical characterization of virulence proteins. Amy's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
