Chaitanya Kaligotla

Chaitanya "CK" Kaligotla is an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at Simon Fraser University since November 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Computational Social Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory from September 2016 to December 2020, as well as a Joint Appointment at The University of Chicago during the same period. Kaligotla earned a PhD in Decision Sciences and Operations Research from INSEAD, where studies were conducted from 2011 to 2016. Additional professional experiences include a PhD internship with HP, consultancy at The Plan Consulting Group, and associate work at Kelley Executive Partners. Earlier career roles include a Financial Advisor at GameZombie TV, Six Sigma Project Lead at Caterpillar Inc., and Process Engineering Intern at Toyota. The academic and professional focus centers on examining the dynamics of interactions, dissemination of opinions, and their effects on human and social behavior.
