Christine Palak

Christine Palak, MA, CPHR, currently serves as the Director of Labour and Employee Relations at Simon Fraser University, leading a team to address and resolve employee and labour relations inquiries while promoting fair employment practices. With previous experience as a Strategic Business Partner in Human Resources at SFU, Christine has also held instructional roles at various academic institutions, including Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Ashton College, teaching courses related to Human Resources and Labour Relations. Prior experience includes significant positions in human resources management at companies like Primex Technologies Inc. and Tree Island Steel. Christine holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management, with ongoing education in Labour Law at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
