Jennifer Ferris is a Health Systems Impact Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Simon Fraser University, engaged in health systems work at the BCCDC since October 2022. Previously, Jennifer served as a Research Officer at the BC Ministry of Health - Office of the Seniors Advocate, where data analysis on senior mortality in British Columbia was conducted for a short term in August to September 2022. Between March and June 2022, Jennifer worked as a Visiting Researcher with the ENIGMA stroke consortium at the University of Southern California under Dr. Sook-Lei Liew. Jennifer completed a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of British Columbia, where from May 2016 to June 2022, responsibilities included serving as a Curriculum Renewal Coordinator in the Graduate and Postdoctoral Education office, focusing on curriculum mapping and needs assessments for the Faculty of Medicine. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from The University of British Columbia.
