Lupin Battersby

Lupin Battersby currently serves as the Director of Knowledge Mobilization at Simon Fraser University, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Battersby worked as a Knowledge Mobilization Officer at the same institution from January 2020 to September 2022, and as a Quality Improvement Consultant at Fraser Health Authority from June 2019 to January 2020. Battersby's earlier roles include Knowledge Translation Specialist at the BC SUPPORT Unit, where involvement focused on supporting patient-oriented research, and Research Associate at the Gerontology Research Centre, managing project coordination and qualitative research. Battersby also contributed as a researcher at the Centre for the Study of Gender, Social Inequities, and Mental Health, alongside experience as a Research Assistant at the BC Centre of Excellence for Women's Health. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, a Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology Commercialization from the Beedie School of Business, and a Master's in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.
