Michael Strang

Michael Strang, MBA, PMP, CPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project delivery and financial management. Currently serving as Senior Director of University Project Delivery at Simon Fraser University since June 2012, Michael leads institution-wide strategic projects and provides critical insights on financial and operational issues within the Vice President Finance & Administration portfolio. Previously, as Director of University Projects, Michael coordinated the implementation of the Residence & Housing Master Plan, and as a Planning Analyst, Michael supported senior leadership with strategic planning and financial analysis. Prior experience includes senior consulting roles at KPMG in Canada, where Michael focused on financial management advisory and audit services. Michael holds an MBA from the Beedie School of Business and additional qualifications in accounting and international business from various institutions.
