Reza Nezami

Reza Nezami is a Computer Science Lecturer at Simon Fraser University since April 2023, where instruction focuses on an undergraduate AI course, CMPT 310, and the development of various AI projects. Currently serving as the Head of the Computer Systems Technology Department at Vancouver Community College since April 2018, responsibilities include designing software application development programs, managing faculty and administration staff, and advising students. Reza's previous roles include Teaching Faculty at LaSalle College, Lead Faculty of Game Programming at The Art Institute of Vancouver, and various engineering positions at companies such as Avigilon, WordLogic Corporation, Piranha Games, SlantSix Games Inc, Electronic Arts, and Matrox Graphics. Reza holds a Master's in Mathematics and Statistics and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick, along with a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Tehran.
