Sean Casey

Sean Casey is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as the Associate Director of Mechanical at Simon Fraser University since June 2020. Prior to this role, Sean worked at FVB Energy Inc from March 2009 to May 2020, where responsibilities included preparing proposals and managing engineering design projects. Earlier experience includes a position as a Facilities Engineer during a summer internship at Pengrowth Energy Corporation, where engineering support was provided for operations and maintenance, as well as a co-op role as a Maintenance Engineer at Tenaris, contributing to mill maintenance operations. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, earned between 2003 and 2008.
