Sofia Janmohamed Mba

Sofia Janmohamed, MBA, CFRE, serves as the Executive Director of Development at Simon Fraser University since August 2022. In addition to this role, Sofia holds significant positions in various organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for AFP Canada and as a Cabinet Member for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. As the founder and consultant of SSJ Business Consultants Inc. since 2004, Sofia has extensive experience in fundraising and development, previously holding leadership roles at the Canadian Cancer Society and the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation. Sofia has contributed as an interim president and in multiple capacities within the AFP Greater Vancouver Chapter, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing the fundraising profession. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology from Simon Fraser University.
