Sue Porter

Sue Porter has a diverse work experience in the field of events and theater management. Sue started their career as the Co-Manager and Director at the First Room Theatre Guild in 2004, where they worked until 2007. Following this, they joined the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company as the Manager of Corporate Development from 2007 to 2008. Sue then became the Executive Director at the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance from 2008 to 2011. Currently, Sue is working as the Senior Associate Director of Ceremonies & Events at Simon Fraser University, a position they have held since 2011.

Sue Porter obtained a Diploma in Rehabilitation Services from Mount Royal University from 1985 to 1987. Sue then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Dalhousie University from 1988 to 1991.
