Destiny Reyes

Destiny Reyes is an Editorial Assistant at Simon & Schuster since October 2021, participating in the Associates Program within the Children's division. Previous experience includes serving as a Copyeditor for the New York City Police Department, focusing on rhetoric aimed at prospective cadets, and holding an internship in public information with the NYPD, where interaction with local media was key. Destiny gained editorial experience as an Editorial Assistant at New City Community Press and as an Editor for Intertext Magazine during studies at Syracuse University. With a Master of Science in Publishing from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Textual Studies from Syracuse University, Destiny possesses a robust background in editing, media relations, and publishing.
