Lucy Ruth Cummins

Lucy Ruth Cummins is an accomplished Executive Art Director at Simon and Schuster since May 2003, leading a team of art directors and designers responsible for a diverse range of books, including hardcover young adult and middle grade novels, paperback covers, and picture books. In addition to this role, Lucy has been a self-employed author-illustrator since January 2013, with notable works including "A Hungry Lion, or a Dwindling Assortment of Animals," "Stumpkin," and "Vampenguin," as well as illustrations for books such as "This Is Not a Valentine" and "Truman." Lucy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute.
