Michael Coords

Dr. Coords is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in cardiac CT/MRI imaging as well as musculoskeletal imaging. Prior to joining SimonMed Dr. Coords served as the Chief Medical Officer at MST consulting and the Director of Cardiac/Musculoskeletal Imaging for a large private practice group. He has a long dedicated career in medical education and continues teaching as a clinical faculty member at the University of California – Riverside working closely with radiology residency programs offering board review focusing on Cardiac Imaging.

Dr. Coords has extensive experience with advanced cardiac imaging and post-acquisition image reconstruction. He has a particular interest in early cardiac screening in high risk individuals, monitoring coronary plaque changes in response to non-invasive treatments and imaging in high level athletes.
