Bob Welsh

Bob Welsh is an experienced professional in product design and innovation, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Simpactful since October 2023 and as President and Founder of nu-team.com since May 2023. Previously, Bob spent 15 years at Stanley Black & Decker in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Technology and Open Innovation, where responsibilities included engaging innovation ecosystems and facilitating technology transfer. Other notable positions at Stanley Black & Decker included Vice President of Breakthrough Innovation and Vice President of Industrial Design for Global Tools & Storage, among others. Earlier career experiences include roles at Black & Decker and Design Edge, beginning as a Design Intern. Bob holds an Executive MBA from Loyola University Maryland and dual Bachelor's degrees in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University, complemented by studies at the University of Delaware.
