Lisa K. “Lk” Browning

Lisa K. “LK” Browning is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workforce development, energy efficiency, and organizational improvement. Currently serving as the Founder of Simpatico since July 2020, Lisa also holds the position of Principal Team Lead for the Heat Pump Working Council and Workforce Strategist at the Electric Power Research Institute from September 2021 to October 2024. Prior roles include Adjunct Instructor at Vanderbilt University, Executive Director of Economic & Workforce Development at Columbia State Community College, and Consultant/Coach with LK Browning & Associates. Lisa's previous experience encompasses management innovation at the Tennessee Valley Authority, development of a corporate university at Conduent HR Services, and roles in ethics education and disaster recovery planning at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. Lisa earned a Master's degree in Human, Organizational & Community Development from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Psychology, Accounting, and English from Middle Tennessee State University.
