Edwin Salazar has extensive work experience in various roles within the supply chain and logistics field. Edwin is currently serving as the Director of Customer Logistics at Simple Mills since May 2022, where they lead a team and manages key relationships with third-party logistics partners.
Prior to their current role, Edwin held the position of Senior Manager of Customer Logistics at Simple Mills from March 2021 to May 2022. Edwin gained valuable experience at Diageo, where they held two roles. Edwin worked as a Materials Planner from February 2017 to August 2017, responsible for planning and managing materials for production. Additionally, Edwin gained valuable experience as an Operations/Engineering Intern at General Mills in 2010, where they focused on improving communication methods and implementing Continuous Improvement tools. In 2009, they worked as a Quality & Regulatory Operations Intern at General Mills, where they conducted food safety testing and validation procedures.

Edwin Salazar obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Operations Research & Information Engineering from Cornell University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Edwin then pursued a Master of Engineering (M. Eng) degree in Engineering Management at the same university from 2010 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Edwin Salazar has also obtained several certifications related to Supply Chain. Edwin completed the "Supply Chain Technology & Systems" certification from edX in September 2021. Prior to that, they obtained the "Supply Chain Dynamics" certification in October 2019, the "Supply Chain Fundamentals" certification in March 2018, and the "Supply Chain Analytics" certification in December 2017, all from edX.
