Andy Rubin

Andy Rubin has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Andy is the Founder of Simple Things, a role they began in May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Founder of Essential Products from February 2016 to February 2020. Andy also served as the Managing Partner at Playground Global from March 2015 to February 2020. Andy Rubin's tenure at Google spanned from July 2005 to October 2014, where they held the position of SVP Mobile and Digital Content. Andy was the Founder of Android, Inc. from January 2004 to July 2005. Additionally, they worked as an EIR at Redpoint Ventures from January 2004 to March 2004. Before that, they founded DANGER in December 1999 and held the position until January 2004. Andy Rubin's earlier work experience includes Manager roles at WebTV from March 1995 to October 1999, Manager positions at General Magic from February 1992 to March 1995, and a Software Engineer role at Apple from August 1989 to February 1992.
