Viktor Malyi has a strong background in software engineering and testing. Viktor has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

In 2009, they started their career as a Software Testing Engineer at Proxistep, where they were responsible for testing web applications in the insurance domain. Viktor delivered two web applications and formalized testing activities for the company.

In 2010, Viktor co-founded the QA Dnepropetrovsk Community, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2012.

In 2010, they joined EPAM Systems as a Software Testing Engineer in the CMS web applications domain. Viktor was later promoted to Test Team Lead, mentoring two QA engineers and hiring six QA engineers.

In 2011, they co-founded ISTQB.in.ua and served as a Co-Founder and Coach for a year.

In 2012, Viktor joined Garmin Würzburg GmbH as an iOS Developer, working on native and hybrid iOS companion apps with heavy BT/BLE usage. Viktor later became a Software Engineer in Test, where they worked on test infrastructure, test design, and implementation for automotive navigation solutions. Viktor designed and implemented automated deployment workflows and a performance testing framework.

In 2018, Viktor pursued freelance projects. Viktor worked on the development of the https://autoworkout.app, an iOS/WatchOS app that tracks workouts automatically and delivers detailed statistics for each exercise. Viktor developed the end-to-end data preparation pipeline for the app.

In the same year, they also worked on the https://ihavevoice.app, an app that allows people with motor neuron disease to interact with a smartphone using eye-tracking technology. Viktor implemented the eye-tracking algorithm and designed the text input prediction model for the app.

In 2019, Viktor joined xbird GmbH (later acquired by Glooko) as a Senior iOS Engineer, where they developed and maintained an Automated Activity Detection iOS SDK. Viktor delivered multiple core features, migrated the SDK implementation to Swift, and increased the test coverage.

In 2021, Viktor became the Flutter Mobile Team Lead at Glooko, where they led a mobile team and worked on the Flutter Mobile platform.

In 2022, Viktor started working as a Technical Lead at simpleclub.

Viktor Malyi obtained a Master's degree in Computer science and Industrial automation from Nacional'na Metallurgijna Akademija Ukraini. Viktor attended this institution from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, in May 2015, Viktor completed a C++ Course, but the institution providing this certification is unknown. Furthermore, in March 2011, Viktor obtained a certification in ISTQB FL (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) from the institution named.
